Whole30 2014 - Day 17

It's Saturday, so plenty of time to make a more elaborate breakfast. We got started with poached eggs, sausage & apples. Delicious!

Late in the afternoon, we had a variety of cold cuts, olives, few nuts, salad and 1/2 an avocado filled with macadamia oil.

For dinner, I used another recipe from the Well Fed cookbook, this time the Chocolate Chili, it was full of flavor and went really well with the rutabaga fries and a salad.

Rutabaga is a great substitute for white potatoes, it still contains starch, but is lower in carbohydrates for those that are looking to cut down on them.
