Whole30 2014 - Day 12

The Whole30 is rolling along nicely, and for me personally I've come to a point where the foods I can't have just become "things" rather than items of desire. However, I'm only human, so there have been moments of  "this would have been perfect for"
For example, spending a nice Sunday afternoon with a friend in the city yesterday, did trigger the thought of enjoying a nice glass of wine in a café somewhere.

Another small pitfall is a more personal one: I have a big fascination for sports supplements, in particular protein supplements. Part of my work is to test and review them and it just so happens I have a lot of samples about to come in (and yes, I get excited about that) There, I said it, I have a protein addiction ;-)
Anyway, there's no guessing anymore about what I'll introduce first!

Today kicked off with an egg scramble with left-over steak, sweet potato & jalapenos. Served with a MCT oil on top.
small side of apple and spinach. To try something new, I drizzled some

The second meal of the day was a generous portion of the cinnamon beef and green beans.

Didn't eat anything pre-workout, since my lunch was quite big, my post-workout was 1/2 cup egg-whites and 2 dates.

Dinner was spicy meatballs with steamed broccoli, left-over parsnips & sweet potato and a salad on the side.
Afterwards we both had a date for a sweet finish.
