After 10 days in, I thought a small re-cap would be in order, since one third of the Whole30 is behind us.
Things I've noticed:
- I've definitely leaned out in the last 10 days, meaning the "puffiness" under my skin is pretty much gone.
- there has been moodiness, especially the first 5 days.
- my nose has completely cleared up
- sleeping better through the night
We had a lunch appointment at noon, so we had a small meal in the morning; a bit of grapefruit & nuts with a bit of blueberry protein "pudding"
Lunch was at one our current favorite places, and it was the "Farm boy" omelet without the cheese and bread. Delicious!
Time between lunch and dinner was a bit too long, so my blood sugar dropped quite while I was cooking the Cinnamon Beef recipe from the book Well Fed.
It came out quite nice, and served it on top of steamed green beans with a side salad.
