Primal Granola bars

In the grey zone of Cave Food Kitchen are foods that are ok to eat in moderation, and one of those foods are oats. Today we're making our own granola bars, this way you can control how much sugar is added.


For about 10 bars:
2 whole eggs
100 ml honey
170 grams of a mix of raisins, goji berries, flax seeds & chopped almonds
200 grams oats
40 grams coconut oil (melted)
1 tsp cinnamon


Heat the oven to 180C (350F) In a bowl, mix all the ingredients and spread it into a shallow baking dish. Make sure the mix is pressed down well.
Bake for about 15 mins, turn the mix around and bake for another 10 mins. Cut into bars and let it cool. Store in an airtight container.
