Another Whole30 journey (well, Whole21+)

After a very successful first Whole30, we decided that we wanted to do another one, but this time for 21 days. Or 21+ rather, since we'll start on the 2nd of April and will finish by April 26ish.
This for 2 reasons:

- On April 30, it's Queensday in the Netherlands, and it's impossible to stay whole30 on Queensday. Ever. And this year is extra special, since on that day our new king will be crowned as well, and that is a BIG deal.
- I have my L1 Crossfit course that weekend (27-28th)
Ok, compared to reason 1, this sounds really lame. But I'm excited, so wanted to share.

Anyway, we agreed in the past few weeks that we really miss the whole30 feeling, and after a hesitant re-introduction at first, this past week has been a full blown return, including alcohol, gluten and sugar. This coming weekend we'll head out to France to enjoy some champagne in the region of.... Champagne. The day after we come back is the kick-off.

Like last time, I'm planning to (b)log every day and take pictures of my meals.
The approach will be the same, but this time I've subscribed to the Whole30 Daily, just out of curiosity. Also, there were a few foods in the beginning of last time that weren't fully compliant (read: meats with sugar in 'em) which are an absolute no-go this time.

All posts will also be pinned on our Pinterest, as well as posted in Facebook & Twitter.

If you want to join and think you might need some help/support, let us know!

P.S. Already received e-mail 1 from Whole30 Daily, looking good!

  1. I would LOVE to join on this, but I love my dairy too much. It's a large part of my day. :D
