The one thing that we will definitely keep, is our time together at breakfast. Before, we'd have breakfast, but pretty much on the run (like plate in the bathroom) Now, we take our time to get up, prepare and have breakfast at the table, even if it's only 10-15 mins.
Another benefit of the whole30 is that we both get up so much more easily, no snoozing, just wake up and go, it's makes a lot of difference!
Today we started with a scramble of eggs, fresh endives (left-over from last night) with ginger powder in coconut oil.
On the side some pear, avocado and bacon.
Next meal was left-orders: stir-fry, some scramble from breakfast, broccoli & chicken.
Had a bad headache during the most part of the day, so left the office early.
Upon getting home, had a few almonds and a
square of coconut oil mixed with cocoa
powder & coconut chips.
Also tried the Sea Snax, a nori chips snack, something that is actually very easy to make yourself!
Dinner was a zucchini spaghetti with a made from
scratch bologonese sauce and salad.
Made a "big mistake", by melting some cocoa butter and mixing that with cocoa powder, shredded coconut, chopped slivered almonds & raisins. Poured it into silicon molds, they turned out really nicely and dangerously turned into really nice home-made chocolate. I should have waited :-(
