When I was in the States recently, I got a jar of the cocoa roast almonds by Emerald, and even though they were ok, the taste didn't sit well with me, plus I knew I wouldn't be able to get them here anyway. So why not make my own?
1 cup of almonds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1-2 tsp cocoa powder
2 tsp erythritol (or other sweetener)
vanilla essence (i used an oil variant)
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
a plastic container with a lid
Put all the ingredients in the container and shake it like there's no tomorrow. Put in the fridge and let the oil solidify. Enjoy!
