Most people that follow a Keto diet are pretty well aware of the nutrients in the foods they eat, but sometimes it's the little stuff that you might overlook, like i did in the beginning ;-)
In this post i'd like to highlight 3 food items that are pretty common, but could potentially endanger your goals whilst following the keto diet.

They are a staple in our household, meaning we always have a batch in the fridge to be used for stir-fries or steaming.
A medium carrot contains about 6 grams of carbs, and personally, i could have about 3 in one sitting. Bang, 18 grams of carbs that will kick you outside your limits easily. Avoid like the plague.
Nut Butters

Also, be aware of regular almonds; a handful (12) will serve you 3 grams of carbs.
Tomatoes
I still eat them often, and even though they are on the allowed list, if you are really looking to cut carbs, i'd avoid them as well. A medium tomato will get you about 3-4 grams of carbs.
No, they won't kill you, but might kill ketosis ;-)
