Keto Challenge Week: Day 2

Day 1 was remarkably easy, although i do think i have an advantage having been Paleo already since November last year. Sweet cravings are just very uncommon, and watching my family eat a piece of vlaai last night didn't bother me for one nano-second. Another thing is, that i have increased my water intake, something i wanted to fix already for a while. Today i do feel a little unsatisfied after eating, but one of the tips given to me after asking for a review of day 1, was to eat more fats. So, got full cream (35%) and crème fraîche (30%)


Breakfast:
3 eggs (whisked) & 4 cubes of frozen spinach
(microwaved for 4 mins.)
2 tbsp of adobo sauce
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tbsp hemp seeds



Lunch:
piece of Tilapia cooked in coconut oil
grilled zucchini, bell pepper
1/2 fresh avocado
salad & tomato


Snacks:
1 boiled egg
left-over lunch
Biltong
few almonds


Dinner:
soup with beef & veggies
1 slavink
2 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp of cocoa/nut mix (recipe below)


Cocoa/Nut mix:
Mix even amounts of coconut oil, almond butter & cocoa powder together.
First melt the coconut oil, then add the almond buter and cocoa powder.
Let it solidify in the fridge. Great for a quick cocoa fix with good oils!
