Chard (Silverbeet) with a Twist

Never in my life would i have bought chard, but since i get a bag full of  "surprise" organic vegetables (Dutch link) every week, i do now! So, how to cook 'em?


2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 onion, chopped
olive oil
big buch of chard
salt & pepper
nutmeg


Heat the oil with the garlic and onion, in the meanwhile, chop the chard stems into small pieces.
Add the stems and cook for a few mins. Last, add the chard leaves with a splash of water.
Put in salt and pepper to taste, and before serving, a dash of nutmeg.
